Refund Policy

Refund and cancellation policy for paid vendor listings on CSVN.

Overview

CSVN offers both free and paid vendor listings. This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are issued for paid listings.

Free Listings

Free listings have no payment involved and are not subject to this policy. You can remove a free listing at any time by emailing info@csvn.in.

Paid listing plans (Premium and Featured) are billed in advance. By making a payment, you agree to this Refund Policy.

Refund Eligibility

Full Refund

You are eligible for a 100% refund if:

  • You request a refund within 7 days of payment, AND
  • You have not yet received any buyer inquiries through your paid listing, AND
  • The listing has been live for less than 7 days

Partial Refund (50%)

You are eligible for a 50% refund if:

  • You request a refund between 8 and 15 days after payment, AND
  • You have received fewer than 5 buyer inquiries through your paid listing

No Refund

Refunds are not available if:

  • More than 15 days have passed since payment
  • You have received 5 or more buyer inquiries
  • You have violated our Terms of Service
  • Your listing was removed due to policy violations
  • You requested a specific placement that was delivered as promised

How to Request a Refund

Email info@csvn.in with:

  1. Your business name and registered email
  2. Date of payment
  3. Amount paid
  4. Reason for the refund request

We acknowledge all refund requests within 2 business days.

Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within:

  • 7 business days for UPI and net banking
  • 10 business days for credit/debit cards
  • 15 business days for international cards

The refund is credited to the original payment method only. We do not issue refunds by cash or cheque.

Cancellation

By You

You may cancel your paid listing at any time by emailing us. Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically trigger a refund. Refunds are governed by the eligibility rules above.

By CSVN

We may cancel or suspend a paid listing at any time if:

  • The vendor violates our Terms of Service
  • The vendor posts false or misleading information
  • The listing is subject to a legal complaint
  • We discontinue the paid listing program

In these cases, we will issue a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of the paid period.

Exceptions

Refunds are not provided for:

  • Third-party payment gateway fees (typically 2–3% of the transaction)
  • GST or taxes already remitted to the government
  • Bank charges or currency conversion fees
  • Listings removed due to vendor policy violations

Chargebacks

If you file a chargeback with your bank or card issuer without first contacting us, we reserve the right to:

  • Immediately suspend your listing
  • Contest the chargeback with documentation
  • Deny future paid listings on CSVN

Please contact us first — we resolve almost all issues without chargebacks.

Modifications

We may update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes apply to future payments only. Your continued use of paid listings after changes indicates acceptance.
